Custom Shop Postmodern Relic: Tone Saver and Fat '60s pickups

A lightweight ash body gives this Postmodern series instrument its typical versatile Strat tones. Its thin layer of nitrocellulose lacquer allows the wood to breathe so that the resonance retains its natural character. Three Custom Shop Fat '60s single-coil pickups are extra wound for a bit of extra output. The middle pickup is reverse wound with reverse polarity. This prevents unwanted hum when the 5-way pickup switch is in position 2 or 4. High frequencies remain unchanged even at low volumes thanks to the volume potentiometer's Tone Saver treble-bleed circuit.
