The Fender Custom Shop Postmodern Journeyman Stratocaster combines a classic design with modern features. This Relic version has a timeless 3-colour Sunburst finish. The neck is made of quarter-sawn maple and has a compound fretboard radius. This makes playing chords easier and means that strings pressed during solos aren't cut off prematurely. Of course, this Fender also produces the famous sparkling tones you'd expect thanks to a lightweight body made of ash. With the Postmodern Relic Strat you get the best of old and new combined.

The Stratocaster's versatility has always set it apart from other models. This particular model has some clever features of its own that make a wide range of sounds accessible. The Postmodern NOS Strat is fitted with three extra-wound Custom Shop Fat '60's single-coil pickups for a bit of extra output. The middle pickup is reverse wound with reverse polarity. This prevents unwanted hum when the 5-way pickup switch is in position 2 or 4. High frequencies remain even at lower volumes thanks to a Tone Saver treble-bleed circuit on the volume potentiometer. This means you should always get the best Strat sounds.
