Fender took one of their most popular classic guitar models and gave it a modern twist. The result is this Fender Modern Player Stratocaster HSH. This Strat features a mahogany body that makes it sound a little warmer than usual, with deep basses and sweet trebles. Additionally, Fender equipped it with a highly versatile HSH pickup configuration: a sparkling, twangy mid-position single coil and two powerful, fat humbuckers for the bridge and neck position. This edition has a Crimson Red Transparent finish.

Modern Player series guitars are known for their excellent playability. The neck of this Stratocaster HSH, for instance, features a comfortable, modern C-profile and a rosewood fretboard with a 9.5-inch radius and 22 medium jumbo frets that provide for effortless bends without buzzing or loss of notes. The vintage-style tremolo bridge has also been modified and now features a 2-point mounting to ensure a smoother feel and better tuning stability.
