Fender's FSR models are always one step ahead on the road to a guitarist's heart. These instruments set themselves apart from the masses by means of their tasteful visual and technical details. One of the most notable features of the FSR American Standard Stratocaster is its Sonic Blue colour. This paint job screams fifties (FIFTIES), a vintage feel that is further emphasised by the aged white synthetic components. This guitar was based on an American Standard model, meaning that this hand-built guitar hails from Fender's American workshop.

This instrument has a look and playability that are familiar for anyone who's used to Fender Strats. Its alder body has a Sonic Blue urethane-lacquer finish and a maple neck that features a rosewood fretboard with 22 medium jumbo frets. Its three Fat '50s Strat single-coil pickups were built in Fender's Custom Shop. Naturally, this guitar features a 5-way pickup switch, a master volume and two tone controls. An FSR Fender, like this one, is a rare sight and sad fact is, it will never be seen in our shop again. This is your one-time opportunity to get your hands on this distinctive, full-blooded Fender.

Guitars and bass guitars from the American Standard series

The professional American Standard series comprises the most recent, US-built versions of Fender's four most famous guitars: Stratocaster, Telecaster, Precision Bass and Jazz Bass. They all feature a high-quality ash or alder body, an average-gauge C-profile maple neck and a relatively flat maple or rosewood fretboard, as well as a reliable, sustain-enhancing bridge and (often) Custom Shop pickups for the classic Fender sound.
