This electric solid-body Telecaster combines the authentic Tele sound with superior build quality and design. It is part of Fender's American Custom series and has a AAA Flame Maple Top. The top has a New Old Stock urethane lacquer that complements the chic Honey Burst finish on the oak body beautifully. A full C-profile neck only adds to the appearance further. The neck on this Fender Custom Shop model is bolted on to the body and features a maple fretboard.

The Fender Telecaster's balanced core sound includes the legendary twang that is picked up on this model by two hand-wound Custom Shop Twisted Tele single-coils. At the neck, the pickup has enough output to deliver a balanced sound together with the bridge pickup which delivers a solid amplified sound with just a touch of Strat character. The Greasebucket tone potentiometer allows for a variety of lighter or darker sounds with the same amount of gain in every position.
