The Fender F-1020S NAT takes you back to the seventies. This natural-coloured, acoustic guitar is based on Fender's classic F series Dreadnought, distinguishable by an extra large headstock and a Viking-style bridge. The F-1020S is the modern version of this good ol' western guitar. It was fitted with a solid cedar top and is subtly yet elegantly finished with maple and mahogany details.

The body of the Fender F-1020S is a so-called dreadnought model, which is known for its deep tone, enhanced by the warm, sweet sound of the cedar top. An extra advantage of this guitar's solid top, as opposed to a laminated one, is that it resonates better. The result can be clearly heard in the rich, open sounds of the F-1020S. Its mahogany neck features a comfortable C profile and a 20-fret rosewood fretboard with a beautiful Fender F inlay next to the 12th fret.

Eye for detail

Its the little things that give this affordable steel-string guitar its luxurious appeal. For instance, the Fender F-1020S Dreadnought is equipped with a Graphtech NuBone string nut and bridge saddle - a synthetic material with the same properties as real bone. Its headstock has a rosewood overlay brandishing a maple Fender logo inlay. The rosette as well as the body and neck bindings are of genuine mahogany. The vintage feel is further emphasised by the cream-white bridge pins and aged chrome machine heads.
