There are no downsides to a second-hand guitar. It's price is a lot lower, it has already been broken in, the wood has had time to settle down and the first painful dent has already been made. There's nothing to stand in your way to grab the guitar and start playing. This second-hand Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster was made in 2010 and it still in excellent condition. It shows only minor signs of being used and comes with the original SKB case. This second-hand model has a lightweight alder body with a transparent amber finish and a C-profile maple neck with a rosewood fretboard for a bit of extra warmth.
2010 American Deluxe Stratocaster Amber: luxury upgrades
The neck of this American Deluxe Stratocaster has 22 medium jumbo frets and a compound radius of 9.5 to 14 inches. This means you can comfortably play barre chords at the lower part of the neck as well as effortless (clatter-free) string bends higher up. For added comfort during high notes, this guitar has a bevelled heel. Its high-quality locking machine heads don't only provide for faster string changes, they also ensure excellent tuning stability in combination with the renewed two-point vintage tremolo bridge. Thanks to the pop-in (threadless) design with adjustable tension, slack on the tremolo arm is a thing of the past.
Fender S-1 switch: 10 different sounds!
This second-hand American Deluxe Stratocaster Amber is equipped with Fender N3 Noiseless pickups. These three single-coils produce that legendary Strat sparkle, without the typical 50Hz hum or static. The top of the volume knob is a special pressure switch, the S-1. By pressing the S-1 you'll activate a different circuit that allows you to create five completely different sounds in addition to the five original Strat ones. These sounds range from a single out-phased pickup to all three pickups combined. How's that for versatility?
