The American Standard Stratocaster adjusted the traditional Strat concept to meet the demands of modern guitarists. Naturally, the unmistakeable looks, characteristic sparkle and amazing playing properties of the original model from the fifties are still present. This second-hand instrument is an American Standard Stratocaster with a lightweight ash body in a Sienna Sunburst lacquer and a one-piece maple neck. It was made in 2009 but looks like it's rarely been used since then. There's only one small dent in the top cutaway. Take advantage of its attractive price today! American Standard Stratocaster: modern Strat

With its innovative improvements, this second-hand Strat is definitely up to Fender's standard. The small vintage frets have been swapped for modern medium jumbo frets, which make string bending easier together with the compound-radius fretboard, which runs from a convex 9.5 inches to a flatter 14 inches. The compound radius ensures a comfortable feel for chords at lower positions and effortless string bends higher up the neck, even at low action. What's more, thanks to the modern, smooth two-point tremolo bridge, this guitar retains its tuning marvellously. Moreover, the bridge's bent steel saddles and solid sustain block provide an even better tone.

SSS pickup configuration with Delta Tone circuit

This 2009 Fender American Standard Stratocaster is fitted with three traditional Alnico V pickups that give you the distinct, highly coveted clear Strat sounds that are perfect for twangy cleans and crunchy distortions alike. The 5-way pickup switch allows you to select the sound of each pickup separately or two combinations. In addition to a master volume and a tone control, this guitar also features a special Delta Tone circuit for the middle and bridge pickups, meaning that the tone potentiometer functions as a normal tone control in position 1 - 9, but takes itself out of the circuit in position 10, allowing for a purer, rawer sound from the bridge pickup.
