The American guitar maker Charvel has decades of experience to build upon. Many guitarists may remember several of their legendary models. Nowadays, the brand once again offers a complete range of high-quality yet affordable guitars, including the limited Pro Stock series. This black-metallic DS1 gives you a sense of what Charvel can do these days. It's a properly complete thrashing axe featuring an LP-style single-cutaway mahogany body with an arched top.

To be able to cater to guitarists that play rougher types of music, the DS1 is equipped with a compound-radius mahogany neck that is neck-through mounted. The fretboard is made of rosewood and is relatively narrow and convex at the string nut, and wider and flatter at the body, ensuring immense playing comfort. Thanks to this refined, 24-jumbo-fret neck, there is nothing to get in the way of your fingers to produce lightning-fast licks and smashing power chords.

The bridge and machine heads were made by Charvel itself and ensure a stable tone, sustain and stability. The properly exciting part is the duo of Seymour Duncan pickups - the JB TB4 Zebra humbucker (bridge) and the '59 SH1N Zebra humbucker (at the neck for the full tones) offer you all the power your sound could possibly need. These humbuckers have their own separate tone and volume controls and can be engaged separately or together. The DS1 will make sure that you will always be able to give the extra push over the cliff.
