Don't think that Apple just gave the iPad air a few software upgrades and called it the iPad Air 2. It's quite the opposite, actually! This tablet's A8X processor is 40% faster than the old A7X and processes graphics 2.5 times faster. Not only that, but it's 25 grams lighter thanks to the improved 9.7-inch Retina display, which now has one layer instead of three, also resulting in more vivid colours and better contrast. Furthermore, an impressive anti-reflective coating has been added to the screen which actually made this tablet the least reflective tablet on the market at the time it was released. The Apple iPad Air 2 Wi-Fi + 4G Space Grey features a black front with a silver-coloure back, 4G functionality and a 16GB memory.

One of the most unique features of the Air 2 is the Touch ID. Thanks to Touch ID technology, you can lock and unlock your iPad with your fingerprint - all you have to do is press your finger against the red button on the front of the tablet. You can also use it to make secure purchases in various Apple stores. Furthermore, Apple has also improved the sensors on both cameras. The iSight camera (back) also got additional functions such as panorama, time-lapse video and slow-motion, and the FaceTime HD camera now performs better in situations with less light. Last but not least, the Wi-Fi is twice as fast and the 4G has been made faster as well.

The iPad Air 2 comes with the iOS 8 operating system. iOS 8 was designed to work seamlessly with the powerful AX8 processor, fast wireless technology, and the impressive Retina screen. There are a number of new functions such as Continuity, which makes it easy to continue with a project on another device. You can also save all kinds of documents online on the iCloud Drive as well as share films, books, music and apps with up to six other devices (Family Sharing). A number of new and improved apps also come with the device, from email and internet, to video chat and navigation, to an iBook reader and a calendar. Of course, there are also countless other free apps that you can download from the App Store.
