The DHT 700 series is a very professional range of wireless handheld microphones. They come with various capsules that all have different pickup patterns. The microphones all have a fully metal, scratch-proof coating, which means that they can withstand the demanding conditions of live performing. A handy display shows the frequency, battery status, output power, mute function and more. The output power can be adjusted to the situation. On a small stage, 20 mW will do you just fine and it allows you to spare the battery. Ordinarily the battery will last up to 8 hours. On large stages, you want to be sure that the signal is strong enough and therefore you can up the output power to 50 mW.

The D7 capsule

This dynamic microphone is available with three different capsules. This DHT700 is equipped with the D7 capsule. This capsule has a super-cardioid pickup pattern, which ensures that the microphone picks up signals well in noisy environments. This D7 head delivers the subtle and open sound of a condenser microphone in combination with the powerful resonance of a dynamic microphone. This makes it well suited for loud lead vocals.
