The IP52KH6-CPM is part of Tama's affordable Imperialstar series of drums, which offer a rich, open sound thanks to the use of high-grade materials and Tama's extensive experience in their field. This standard rock kit is excellently suited for both beginners and more advanced players, as it's a highly complete package. Besides the five drums, you're also getting a Meinl MCS cymbal set, stands, an Iron Cobra bass drum pedal and a sturdy drum throne.

The kit comes in a rock configuration, which consists of a 22 x 18-inch bass drum, 10 x 8 and 12 x 9-inch toms, a 16 x 14-inch floor tom and a 14 x 5-inch snare. All shells mare made of 7.5mm-thick, 6-ply poplar and feature a beautiful Candy Apple Mist wrap, which is glued to the entirety of the shell for optimal resonance. Furthermore, the Precision Bearing Edges and small lugs also help the shells achieve their rich and open tone.

Cymbals and hardware

Included, you'll find a three-piece MCS cymbal pack by renowned cymbal manufacturer Meinl, which contains a pair of 14-inch hi-hat cymbals, a 16-inch crash and a 20-inch ride. You can mount these cymbals on three (also included) sturdy, durable and easy to use stands (straight, boom and hi-hat). The toms will feel right at home on Tama's tried-and-true tom mounting system, which is easy to adjust, but also provides the toms with plenty of stability, while allowing them to resonate freely. The special Accu-Tune bass drum hoops are also very reliable, and they make sure your bass drum stays in tune for much longer. Finally, the Iron Cobra HP200P bass drum pedal and HT25 drum throne make this a complete package.
