This RN1-R643-VP from Gretsch's Renown Maple 2014 shell set consists of a large 24-inch bass drum, a 13-inch tom and a 16-inch floor tom, and combines a classic look with a solid rock sound. The sizeable shells produce the familiar full-bodied Gretsch sound, and are supplied without hardware or cymbals.

Rock configuration

This Gretsch shell set provides you with a typical rock configuration. A large 24-inch bass drum ensures a solid low-end, and a 13-inch tom with a considerable depth of 9 inches and a 16-inch floor tom complete the set. All shells are equipped with rounded bearing edges for optimal sound projection and deliver the warm and full-bodied tone Gretsch is known and loved for, including a powerful attack.

Toms

Gretsch has decided not to mount the tom on the bass drum, but to suspend it by means of a clamp, leaving the shell of the bass drum intact to ensure a better sound. This system allows you to place your tom wherever you like – ideal for drummers who like to experiment with different setups.
