With the V-Drums V71 drum module, Roland ushers in a new era in the world of electronic drums. Designed to replace the TD-50 as the new crown jewel, this flagship model comes jam-packed with drum samples from the DW Soundworks collection and, what's more, can be connected to the Roland Cloud via Wifi to gain access to the ever-growing DW Soundworks online drum library.

DW Soundworks

In the past, drum modules and virtual drums were two separate worlds, but that changed when Roland teamed up with DW Soundworks. The V-Drums V71 guarantees seamless DW Soundworks software integration, allowing you to customise the built-in kits in minute detail, run the standalone software on your computer, or add the matching plugin to your recording software.

Pick and Play

Not every drummer is a skilled studio technician, and that's okay because the V71 module offers up a broad collection of ready-made, stage-and-studio-worthy drum kits that have been factory-fine-tuned with EQ and compression so they sound bang-on from the get-go.

Connections

The V71 is a great option for pro-level drummers, both thanks to the superb drum sounds and the small army of inputs and outputs, which include XLR stereo outputs and eight balanced outputs for sending out individual signals, making things really easy for the sound tech or mix engineer. Roland has even fitted a USB port that supports multi-track recordings, meaning you won't need an extensive sound card.
