Together with Nils Landgren, Yamaha has developed the MP SL Landgren S mouthpiece for trombone. This model is particularly suited for jazz trombonists, as the rim is quite large, resulting in a powerful, flexible sound.

Nils Landgren

Nils Landgren is a Swedish trombone player who's built a great career in the world of funk, R&B and jazz. Known as "The Man with the Red Horn," Landgren has brought out a number of albums with artists such as Ray Parker Jr. and Maceo Parker.
