Yamaha MP SL Landgren GP munstycke till trombon

Together in collaboration with Nils Landgren Yamaha has developed the MP SL Landgren GP mouthpiece for trombone. Because the rim of the mouthpiece is semi-flat, it produces a powerful sound with a lot of flexibility, making it exceptionally well suited for jazz trombone players.

The Signature series

There's no way to avoid it, the best instruments are always made in collaboration with the best musicians. Collaboration is also interesting for those musicians, because together with the R&D department at Yamaha the perfect instrument for that musician is created that would never have existed otherwise. As such, Yamaha's Signature series boasts an attractive number of mouthpieces for brass instruments that are named after the famous musicians who helped design them.

Nils Landgren

Landgren, or, "the man with the red horn" is a Swedish trombone player who has built up an impressive career in R&B, Funk and Jazz. He's brought out numerous albums with artists such as Maceo Parker and Ray Parker Jr.
