The Olympus Starter Kit consists of a DS-2500 recorder and the AS-2400 transcription kit - these allow you to easily record meetings or lectures. This bundle is perfect for small offices and contains everything you need to benefit from digital dictation. You'll be able to record everything with the DS-2500 audio recorder, and transcribe your recording with the AS-2400 transcription kit.
The practical DS-2500 audio recorder
The DS-2500 is a handy audio recorder that'll save you a lot of time during recordings, as it features a wide array of practical functions. Your recordings are registered in the professional DSS Pro format. Furthermore, the DS-2500 is equipped with a durable housing that will keep it safe if you drop it, for instance. The DS-2500 is easy to operate via the various buttons on the housing. It's also fitted with a practical USB charging function.
AS-2400 Transcription kit
A disadvantage of recording lectures and meetings, is that someone will have to type the recordings out! The AS-2400 transcription kit also takes care of that issue- during playback, you can rewind the recording 1-5 seconds with the foot pedal, and adjust the playback speed between 50 and 200%. The DSS Player transcription software will help you order your recordings in accordance with their priority, so you can easily access your files at all times.
