Audio Technica is known for its microphones and headphones that are great value for money. The ATW-13F is no exception. This may be Audio Technica's entry model, but it sure doesn't look like it. This stylish system, comprised of a receiver and a handheld microphone transmitter, operates on a dual frequency band and is therefore extremely versatile. The mic has a cardioid pickup pattern, making it suitable for extra loud stages.

Audio Technica ATW-13F: 2 x 4 available frequencies

The ATW-13F works with two frequency bands, the Duplex gap (824 - 831 MHz) as well as the ISM band (863 - 865 MHz), and has four free frequencies at its disposal for each. This means the chances of interference with other users are slim, and that you can use all four systems at once, supplying an entire band with Audio Technica's AT-One system. Besides your handheld microphones, for instance, you could add a body pack or a wireless guitar system.

Wireless frequencies

A wireless system offers many advantages over a wired one; faulty or damaged wires are a thing of the past, and connection is quick and easy without having to deal with cables. On the other hand, a wireless system has its draw-backs; choosing the right frequency is very important, for example.
