Finished in a stealthy black and mounted with the highly innovative and patented Meinl Floatune hardware, this set of 13 and 14 inch TI1BK timbales comes with high credentials. Since the tension rods are fitted to a floating hoop halfway down the drum, not one hole has been drilled into the sides of these timbales, giving the steel drums the space they need to fully resonate. The resulting sound of the TI1BK timbales is full and comes with more than enough volume to make sure any rim shots poke through the mix.

Meinl include a fully adjustable stand with double-braced legs on which to mount these outstanding matt-black-powder-coated and chrome-hardware-mounted timbales. On the underside, the Meinl logo is subtly printed on each skin and, since the stand comes with an extra percussion holder, there's room to add a woodblock or cowbell as needed. This is not only a warm and full pair of timbales, but a comprehensive set.
