The Yamaha MMP1 is a monitor management system that takes the work out of yur hands while you're working in the box. It gives you total control over eight speaker outputs thanks to an innovative routing matrix. This is the 40 x 36-channel monitor router that is supported by the glorious Dolby Atmos, which is available in 5.1 and 7.1 surround configurations. Another handy feature is the talkback function so you can communicate with your recording artists in another room during the recording process. The MMP1 system also offers eight channel strips with Yamaha's very own acclaimed Comp260 compressors, which were modelled after the iconic models form the 1970s.

Flexible control and low frequencies

Not only is the MMP1 engineered for accurate monitoring, it is also designed to manage low frequencies in great detail, particularly when mixing in surround. Normally, you wouldn't find versatility of this calibre in a fixed bass management system, but the routing matrix ensures that you can adjust the crossover filters separately for each channel in order to circumvent unwanted low frequencies. You have complete control over any phasing problems thanks to the FIR and IIR filters and the supported sample rate of maximum 192 kHz ensures excellent audio quality. Add the user-friendly management tool (via the app or via the MMP1 editor), and you've got a powerful all-in-one monitor system at your disposal!
