The Tannoy TM1 recording bundle offers a simple starting point for a budding recording studio: a flexible and great-sounding condenser microphone, shock mount with pop-filter and six-metre-long XLR cable. Fit the shock-mount to the top of a microphone stand, secure the included microphone and connect it up to your audio interface using the included cable. Supported by a 1-inch diaphragm, this condenser microphone captures sound via a cardioid pickup pattern for direct and accurate recordings while the pop-filter prevents any intense 'P', 'B' and 'S' sounds from peaking and distorting the signal. Meanwhile, the shock mount will dutifully remove any danger of unintended vibrations finding their way onto the recording.
