The Shure PG series has had a proper update, resulting in the PGA series. This PGA27 is a part of the new PGA series, and this large-diaphragm condenser microphone can be used live as well as in the studio. It has a cardioid pickup pattern, making it ideal for use as a vocal microphone. Thanks to a high maximum SPL, it's also suited for drums, making it highly multifunctional. As the PGA series is a starter range, you won't have to break the bank to pay for this mic. A reasonable price doesn't equal poor quality, however - this is a proper piece of kit!

Shure PGA27: pure quality

In order to properly carry out its task, the PGA27 has a neutral response. That means that you can record to your heart's content without the microphone distorting your tracks with its own sound colouring. Shure have done all in their power to make this unit ready for live use! It is, for instance, fitted with an internal shockmount that holds the capsule, protecting it from knocks and bumps, and reducing handling noise. All in all, it´s an ideal microphone for daily use!
