With the Meinl SLAP Slap Shake you're getting your hands on a remarkable instrument. It is a combination of two well-known percussion instruments, the castanets and the shaker. Using the Slap Shake, percussionists can create a wide variety of sounds, and thanks to the easy hook and loop fastener, it's easy to attach to your cajon or other instrument. You can shake it like a shaker and when you hit it, it makes the familiar sound of a castanet.
