Yamaha designs and produces a number of mouthpiece for saxophone, each with the reliability and quality you know to expect from Yamaha. There are 5 mouthpieces for soprano sax from the Standard series: 3C, 4C, 5C, 6C and 7C. The MP SS 7C mouthpiece is excellent for jazz, with its rich, powerful sound and accurate attack.

Standard Series

Saxophone mouthpieces from the Standard series are fashioned from phenolic material. When it comes to specifications and playing characteristics, this mouthpiece is incredibly consistent and offers you excellent quality and musicality. Because of the shorter facing length, mouthpieces from the Standard series are easier for beginners to play, while still offering high quality.
