PA systems are available in countless varieties. If you are looking to use subwoofers in combination with a number of full-range satellite speakers, you need to make sure that the different components are well attuned to one another. With this XT-12T MKII, DAP Audio have designed a powerful passive full-range speaker that is excellently suited for use with a subwoofer. The frequency response starts a little higher than with the XT-12 MKII, ensuring that this speaker doesn't get in the way of the subwoofer and allowing the 12-inch woofer and 1.75-inch tweeter to express themselves more, as they don't have to look after the lowest bass frequencies.
Capacity and Construction
The XT-12T MKII can handle a lot! Peaks of up to 1,800 Watts and continuous power of 450 Watts at 8 Ohms are no problem for this robust cabinet. Additionally, it has been made more road-proof with rugged handles, scratchproof lacquer and a metal grille. For optimal sound with high volumes, a titanium compression driver has been provided. It ensures clarity and prevents distortion. In combination with DAP Audio XT subwoofers, you are getting your hands on a perfect, affordable PA combination setup.
