While this is a single collapsible platform support, a pair (or more) of the these FlexRisers is all you need to securely support a platform, while the spring-and-hinge mechanism folds down into a neat, space-saving unit, and ensures smooth action. As soon as you pull up again, the brackets are naturally brought up into a Z standing position - ideal for a laptop, drum machine, even a lid, or whatever your creative mind can come up with.
