The Schlagwerk 60101 Log Drum: 10 Tones, F-Pentatonic

This 10-tone log drum is the largest that can be found in Schlagwerk's collection and measures 60 x 20 x 18 cm (W x L x H). Since it's hollow and features ten tongues varying in length and thickness, this instrument made of African padauk shapes a characteristically full and warm sound. To create melodies or beat sequences, you can play ten different tones across the F-pentatonic scale by striking the tongues with a mallet.
