This compact Pixel Bar by Showtec is equipped with four 15W COB lamps, these generate a light yield of 635 lux at a distance of 2 metres. With a beam angle of 60 degrees, a beautiful diffuse light is created that can be used to perfectly light venues and stages.

Pixel Bar 4 COB: the technology

The Pixel BAR 4 combines a great light yield with a limited power consumption of only 60 watts. The COB lamps combine 4 different colours (RGBW) in one housing, so that one neat light beam is created. Thanks to the use of a convection cooling, no fans are needed that make noise or use excess energy. A clear LED display makes the Pixel BAR 4 easy to set up.

In practice

As was mentioned before, the Pixel BAR 4 COB is perfectly fit for lighting rooms and stages, but it can also be used as a blinder. The Pixel Bar can be completely operated via DMX, but it also has a number of pre-programmed chases so that it can work perfectly in stand-alone mode.
