German brand AKG is a manufacturer of microphones for professional applications. This CK77-WR is an extremely small, omnidirectional lavalier microphone. Thanks to the omnidirectional capsule, the microphone offers the same sound quality from all directions. Its robustness and superior sound quality make it perfectly fit for use in the theatre and for broadcasting. The capsule is equipped with screw thread so that it can easily be replaced or serviced, if need be.

Double diaphragm

This lavalier uses a double-diaphragm capsule, which has been designed to protect the voice coil against moisture, sweat and salt. This comes in very handy when you are using this lavalier in the theatre, where the actors are usually sweating because of all the warm lighting. Make-up also can't get in at the microphone – you will be able to enjoy this microphone for a long time to come! The double diaphragm is mounted vertically, back to back, and therefore it is capable of filtering out mechanical noise and handling noise by mixing both signals with one another, out of phase. This way, you are provided with a quiet microphone that only picks up what is important.
