Yamaha developed the Dutot signature mouthpiece in collaboration with Pierre Dutot. The MP CR Dutot S mouthpiece offers a rich cornet sound that is especially suited for French cornet music.

The Signature series

These principles of craftsmanship were applied to the Signature series, which contains special brass instrument mouthpieces named after the collaborative musicians.

Pierre Dutot

The French trumpet virtuoso, Pierre Dutot, was trained at a conservatory in Paris, after which his name and fame were made thanks to many European orchestral performances. Dutot has been featured on more than 80 CDs and is a much sought-after juror and teacher with a number of very successful students.
