Yamaha MKA05 Keiko Abe signatur serien klubba
Allmänt
The Yamaha MKA-05 is a professional mallet developed in collaboration with Keiko Abe, a Japanese marimba player. This mallet has a rubber tube around the core, so that the sensitivity and expression of the stick are increased. A warm sound with clear projection is produced, ideal for use in modern music parts. The head is medium hard and wound with white yarn, at the underside a green tape has been applied so that you can directly recognise it. Thanks to a diameter of 30 x 23 mm, the head is a little heavier than the standard Yamaha mallets. This contributes to an optimal resonacne of the key for a full and warm marimba sound.
MKA-05: optimal control
With the MKA-05 medium mallet you will get the perfect sound from the middle and low registers in particular. Thanks to the hardness of the head, this mallet can also be used for higher registers. With a flexible shaft, made of rattan, you will have optimal control over every beat. This means that you can play with a lot of expression and with a warm sound. The stick is 430 mm long, which is a little longer than your average Yamaha mallet. This increases the playing range, so that you will be able to take on any modern piece of music with this mallet. Excellent for professional players.
