The 8th generation iPod Touch is quite a step up from its predecessor. Its A8 chip improved offers ten times the performance of the previous generation, while the battery lasts just as long. In fact, on a full battery, you'll have up to 40 hours of music playback time and 8 hours of video playback time. The iPod Touch also has an improved iSight camera, as well as an improved FaceTime HD camera/. Every iPod Touch comes with iOS 8 preloaded, as well as some standard apps preinstalled. This particular 64GB model features a blue finish, but it's also available in gold, pink, silver and Space Grey.

The iPod Touch has two cameras: the iSight camera on the back, and the FaceTime HD camera on the front. The iSight camera now has 8 megapixels and a few exciting new features. For instance, it allows you to record 720p video at 120 frames per second, allowing for slow-motion video playback, and to take panorama pictures up to 48 megapixels in size. The FaceTime HD camera has also been improved, and now sports enhanced face detection, as well as a better HDR mode that allows for warmer colours and a sharper image
