The Linear 5 series by HK Audio Pack stacks up two towers of full-range speakers and subwoofers to deliver excellent, pro-grade amplification. Basically, if you're ready to invest in great audio for live shows, this Rock Pack is an excellent pick. Two full-range speakers are teamed up with two active and two passive subwoofers to build an impressive wall of sound that's able to handle audiences of around 300 people.
Full-Range Power
The mid and high frequencies are reproduced with more-than-adequate accuracy by the pair of Linear 5 L5 112 FA active full-range speakers, each of which come loaded with a 12 inch woofer and 1 inch cone tweeter. The built-in amplifier has a whopping 1,000 Watts of power in reserve and can handle a high SPL. As a convenient bonus, the speaker housings feature slanted rear edges so they can even be set up to serve as potent floor monitors.
Powerful Sub Lows
A professional PA system is nothing without a good foundation, and since this HK Audio pack is founded by a set of four subwoofers, you're in more-than-capable hands. The active Linear 5 L Sub 1200 A subs feature a 1,200 Watt amplifier apiece, giving these bins the ability to reach as low as 38Hz and do it with finesse, while the two 10 inch woofers can reach a maximum of 130Hz via a variable crossover. The passive Linear 5 L Sub 1200 comes equipped with exactly the same components - just minus the amplifier, and can be powered via the speaker output. Naturally, every bit of it comes protected by short-circuit, overloading and thermal protection safety circuits.
Road-Ready & Complete
Each and every component has been wrapped up in a near-indestructible birch wood cabinet with a wear-resistant coating, so this system is fully prepped for the most rigorous touring schedule. And to keep the entire system in full health for longer, HK Audio even throw in a full pack of form-fitting covers. The Rock Pack also comes bundled up with two tilt adapters so the speakers can be set up at an angle for optimal audio dispersion. With a combined output capacity of 4,400 Watts, this is one potent PA system, whether accommodating live venues, touring bands or DJs.
