A great deal of research has preceded the construction of the Koch Custom Cabinet series. The aim was to find out in what way and to what extent the various parts of a guitar cabinet influence the final sound. Based on this research, a lot of detailed attention has been paid to the housing (the highest quality 18 mm and 13 ply Beltic birch with wood-to-wood, glued bindings). Every bit of the loudspeaker (the self-designed VG12-90) and the internal cabling, is a superior Koch Dynacon component.

KCC-412B-RM: With Rear Mounted Speakers

The Dutch Koch is known for its unique and highly reliable amps. The Custom Cabinet Series continues the trend, offering an array of gourmet-standard models. The KCC-412B-RM is a 360 Watt speaker cabinet, cloaked in black and built with four, rear-mounted 12-inch speakers to give a more relaxed, sultry and less hi-fi sound than the faster, super-defined sound of the front-mounted versions. The VG12-90 speakers themselves have a pleasing, rounded warmth with impressive bass-response.
