In the imposing form of the Hellraiser Extreme-5 Signature, Cradle of Filth's Daniel Firth presents his latest Schecter-made signature five-string bass and, needless to say, it sounds extremely tight, defined and full of sustain. This all starts with the sonic warmth shaped by the mahogany body, which has been completed with a comfortable walnut-maple neck that comes reinforced with carbon fibre rods for maximum stability. Whether you've got smaller or larger hands, the 16-inch radius of the ebony fretboard feels immediately snug and helps to shape a more snappy, mix-cutting sound that gets registered by two Fishman Fluence Bass Soapbar pickups, resulting in ultimately flexible tone which can then be tweaked using the push-pull coil-tap volume pot, the on-board 3-band EQ and the fitted blend pot. Also, in case you hadn't noticed, this hell-raising axe comes cloaked in Cthulhu Burst Satin.
