The Sandberg Panther TT is a high-end 4-string electric bass guitar built by hand. It has a perfectly balanced body with rounded contours for extra playing comfort. It's equipped with two J-style single-coil pickups that give it a classic growl. This version has special features including a terrific Thuya top, a beautiful ebony fretboard with block inlays and stylish black hardware. The transparent matte lacquer lets the natural beauty of the wood show through. A bass guitar as good as this deserves adequate protection which is why a robust gig bag is included.

Sandberg Panther TT

Beneath the matte lacquer is a mahogany body and the stunning Thuya top. Thuya is an exotic wood type that's part of Sandberg's special rarewood options and gives this bass a truly unique look. The 22-fret neck on the Sandberg Panther TT is made of Canadian Hardrock maple and is home to the ebony fretboard and its white pearloid block inlays. The pickups are two Alnico 5 single-coils and there's an active 2-band EQ that can be switched to passive mode by pulling out the volume knob.

Bass guitar with modern features

The Panther TT has a specially-designed bridge with saddles that can be adjusted in three different ways. The string height, the distance between the strings and the intonation can all be accurately set up. The saddles can be locked in place as well for extra stability which gives the bass a tighter, more direct sound. This bass also has Sandberg's characteristic zero fret so that the open strings sound exactly the same as fretted ones. There's a one-piece string tree that ensures the A, D and G strings run through the string nut with just the right amount of pressure. Fianlly, the machine heads have adjustable resistance.
