Allmänt

This cream-coloured Electra VS4 electric bass guitar by Sandberg has a classic look. It was designed and assembled in Germany but uses hand-selected parts by Korean manufacturers to keep it affordable. It's equipped with Sandberg's special guide for the A, D and G strings that ensures the pressure on the string nut is the same as it is for the E string. This improves the tuning stability, reduces unwanted noise and means a better-balanced sound. The robust bridge is Sandberg's own and the neck is bolted on to the body using six bolts for extra stability.

Electra VS4

The Electra VS4 has a basswood body that produces a transparent, somewhat airy sound. The maple neck and fretboard add brightness to the overall tone. Thanks to the addition of a 0 fret, the open strings sound exactly like the fretted ones. A Sandberg split single-coil pickup delivers a punchy sound to your amplifier that can be customised using the active preamplifier with 2-band EQ. The tone control works in active or passive mode and is activated by pulling on the volume control.
