The Ibanez SRMD205 is a generously priced bass considering the level of quality it offers. This 5-string is incredibly comfortable, shapes uncompromising sound, and has been built to bring out the very best in your playing. The poplar body has been fitted with a maple neck for a balanced, full, and bright foundation that's then registered by a set of two Dynamix pickups, one of which brings the classic tonal style of a Precision bass, and the other the style of a Jazz. This combo provides an inspiringly wide tonal range and surprising flexibility, that's adjusted with ease using the active two-band tone controls. The playability is just as good thanks to a snug and fast feeling neck profile and the body has also been sensitively contoured so that it sits comfortably, and finishes a high-grade instrument that would usually cost twice the price.
