The way in which guitars are built has seen some massive changes over the years. The finish nowadays is generally also different from the early days of the electric guitar and bass guitar. Fender offer several Lacquer models that have the same nitrocellulose finish as in the '50s and '60s. This Fender Classic Series '60s Jazz Bass Lacquer too received this royal treatment. Combined with the 3-colour Sunburst finish it's almost fit for framing.
Bass punch
The Jazz Bass is coveted for its defined, tight sound packed with punch, and there's no shortage of that with this Classic Series '60s. Two Standard Vintage alnico single coils ensure a proper pickup of your play. This guitar's 20 vintage-sized frets and maple neck with rosewood fretboard offer an utter musically expressive freedom. The durable vintage-style machine heads and American Vintage Bass bridge provide a stable tuning and sound as well as a rich tone. A custom-made Fender tweed case is included in the package, to offer the right kind of protection while transporting your precious instrument.
