The Fender Classic Player Rascal Bass (Ocean Turquoise) is a vintage-looking short-scale bass guitar. It is equipped with a Jaguar Bass VI alder body and three classic Lipstick pickups that take responsibility for a highly distinctive, razor-sharp sound. Thanks to the combination of a pickup switch and a push-pull volume control, there are no fewer than seven pickup configurations available. The bass also comes with a convenient and luxurious gig bag.

Classic Player Rascal Bass: distinctive

The impressive Ocean Turquoise Rascal Bass is equipped with a white pearl style pickguard, a Coronado-style headstock and prominent white position markers. Furthermore, the saddles of the distinctive Guild Starfire bridge can be individually adjusted, and the Rascal is comfortable to play thanks to its short C-profile neck and nice body shape. All in all, this four-string electric bass, designed by master guitar builder Jason Smith, is a fun, quirky model for vintage bass aficionados. 

Guitars and bass guitars from the Classic Player series

Guitars and bass guitars from the Classic Player series, sprung from the Classic line, are modelled after traditional Telecasters, Stratocasters, Jazzmasters and Jaguars, but are extra notable because of the addition of several special modern features. For instance, they offer a choice from a broad selection of pickups (ranging from classic pickups to modern, high-output versions), and each model features a relatively flat fretboard radius for extra comfortable playing. Additionally, instruments from this series - introduced in 2006 - are characterised by a vintage-style neck profile.
