The Fender American Vintage '63 Precision Bass (3-colour Sunburst) is a Precision Bass from Fender's American Vintage series. This means that this bass guitar is made in America and that is like the vintage Fender model in every conceivable way. In this case, Fender present you with the sound, comfort and looks of a 1963 Precision Bass. This version features a 3-colour Sunburst finish and a rosewood fretboard.

The fretboard of the American Vintage '63 Precision Bass

In 1963, the P-Bass was fitted with a comfortable, round-laminated rosewood fretboard for the very first time. The extremely thin fretboard has the same curvature as the top of the neck as it sits on the neck as a fine layer. Additionally, the American Vintage '63 split single-coil pickup was specially made to reproduce the 1963 version's sound. Striking features include the finger rest, the brown pickguard and the added strap button on the back of the headstock.
