Cort's GB74JJ is a solid-body electric bass guitar that offers a more modern look and sound than a traditional J-style bass. It's equipped with a stable Omega bridge and Hipshot Ultralite machine heads that give it excellent tuning stability. The bridge is fixed which allows an optimal transference of the string vibrations to the body. Ash is used for the body of this instrument and this, together with the maple neck, gives the GB74JJ its powerful, tight and punchy sound with warmth and a strong upper midrange. Two Voice Tone VBT-ST JJ single-coil pickups accurately deliver the tones to the active electronics. Using the 2-band EQ, you can tweak your sound to perfection and make it suitable for many styles of music.
