The hand-crafted Byzance series of cymbals by Meinl contains many high-quality, professionally finished cymbals. The best thing about them though is that each individual cymbal has a distinctly unique sound, and the 13-inch B13SH-B Brilliant Serpents Hi-hats are no exception. These hi-hats have somewhat of a split personality, as the two cymbals are polar opposites, both in weight and finish - with one having a brilliant finish and the other having a raw, unlathed jazz finish.
