Aiming to serve contemporary guitarists with a heart for classic Fender models, Squier present the Contemporary Active Series Starcaster: an offset electric guitar equipped with a fistful of interesting modern updates. If you hadn't already noticed, just look at the matte finish of the body and the matching headstock; the slim C-profile neck coated in satin-gloss lacquer; and the soundhole-free, semi-acoustic build that guarantees a traditional acoustic foundation sound and no unwanted feedback after you plug in. The two active Squier SQR humbuckers effortlessly generate a wall of tone and, to extend full courtesy in terms of playing ease and comfort, this Starcaster has been finished with a flat, 12" radiussed fretboard and narrow tall frets for speedy licks and supple bends.
