Simply dial in your preference using the provided gain, bass, middle, and treble controls before drenching it in a little of the built-in reverb. Three EL84 tubes drive the power amp and a pair of ECC83s take care of the preamp while a fat 12-inch Celestion Creamback G12-M 65 speaker gives shape to the full and deep resulting sound. Footswitches can be hooked up to trigger the boost or to toggle the built-in Accutronics reverb, and a speaker output is fitted for fattening up the sound by connecting an 8 or 16 Ohm speaker cabinet. The plywood housing keeps this amp solid yet lightweight, and due to the considerate construction, repairs can be quickly carried out and parts can be easily replaced to give the AGM-284C a long and healthy lifespan.
