On a cold evening in March 1968, Jimi Hendrix performed in the Field House Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio. A young Seymour Duncan had met Jimi earlier that day at Xavier University and given him a set of pickups that he had made especially for him as a gift. Roger Mayer installed them in Jimi's guitar and the rest is history. That evening marked the beginning of Seymour Duncan's legacy.
