For maximal compatibility, the Behringer X32 is equipped with an expansion slot at the rear. Behringer offers multiple expansion cards for the slot, including this Behringer X-DANTE Expansion Card. This 32x32 I/O audio interface communicates with your computer or other Dante hardware via a single Ethernet cable, making it possible to operate from impressive distances with astoundingly low latency and a maximum recording resolution of 24 bits / 48 kHz. Just place the card in the X-USB card slot, which is delivered standard with the X32.

X-DANTE: Everything is under control

You need to install a few software packages on your computer for the communication, the most important of which is the Audinate Dante Virtual sound card. This translates the incoming data so you can use the separate tracks in combination with your DAW software. Furthermore, there's also the Dante Controller software, which you can use to easily configure your entire Dante system and to route the signals to various devices.
