The solid meranti body has been finished with ergonomic and, even elegant, contouring - all in the aim of maximising comfort, while the headless design and trimmed down shape bring the weight all the way down to just 2.15 kilos. These details alone help reduce the playing fatigue and aches and pains involved in longer playing sessions. Every example of the Boden Essential 6 comes with a pre-installed set of D’Addario NYXL 10-46 strings and a gig bag.

The .strandberg* Boden Essential 6: An Even Faster Neck

All Strandberg models are renowned for their neck, and this six-string is no exception. Made from roasted maple, the neck has been given the exclusive EndurNeck profile while the rosewood fretboard features an extremely flat 20 inch radius. These high-end features guarantee a tight and controlled feel, no matter how technical the work gets. Even the set of twenty-four frets have been made from stainless-steel, reducing string friction as well as the force needed to hold notes.

The Boden Essential 6 has also been kitted out with a pair of custom-developed humbuckers complete with master tone and volume pots and a five-way switch that flips through a breathtaking tonal array.
