The Crunch Lab at the bridge and the LiquiFire at the neck are the same pickups that John Petrucci himself often uses, so you're already assured of nothing but excellent tone. A nice bonus is the push/pull volume pot that adds a 12dB boost when it's popped out - giving your sound the extra edge it needs to slice effortlessly through the mix when needed.
