Jason Richardson raised the game with his deeply technical and intimidatingly fast leads. Besides the insanely priced elite Ernie Ball MM Signature-Sterling, you can now get your mits on a more affordable version of the Cutlass 7-string. The Richardson 7 has an exquisite Natural Poplar Burl Burst finished alder body fitted with a roasted maple neck and rosewood fretboard and comes complete with its very own gig bag.
The Jason Richardson Cutlass 7: Hear it Roar!
The foundation sound of this metal-primed axe is formed by two specially designed MM JR-humbuckers supported by a push/pull volume-boost to for thrusting solos through the mix. A second push/pull pot functions as a coil-tap that shaves off some output for less-coloured cleans and the modern floating tremolo bridge and locking tuners serve death-defying dive-bombs without fear of dropping tune. All of this completes a surprisingly inexpensive instrument that's built to perform.
